Kamryn is 3!!!

It is hard to believe that Kamryn is 3! Some days I wasn't sure she was going to make it :)! She is our little firecracker. She had her 3 year well check and is 99% tile for both height and weight- 41 inches, 41 lbs! She is one of the busiest kids I have ever met and she doesn't look to slow down any time soon. Here are some things we want to remember!!

 

* She loves her blankets

* She finally sleeps through the night in her bed (this has been going on for a few months)

* She LOVES to be outside

* Loves to swing

* Has a few nicknames- Kam, Kamryn-cakes, Honeybadger

* It is her way or no way

* She will put up a good fight over something she wants - this is a quality I will appreciate later in life :)

* She put a hole in her wall by slamming her door while mad- she has a temper

* Her favorite color is Purple

* She loves reading books, usually only at night

* She is just fine playing by herself

* She can get in and out of her 5-point car seat

* She wants to do whatever Reagan does

* She LOVES LOVES Butters.. obsessed is probably a better word

* She still runs everywhere she goes

* She loves holding babies and is very gentle with them (lets hope this continues!)

* She always wants to wear her "Sparkly" Shoes and Purple fall jacket

* She LOVES to be naked- this is a recent phase, at least I am hoping it is a phase

* She was potty trained in 1 day, including nights

* She will go to preschool in 2 weeks and is SO EXCITED

* She always wants Daddy to put her to bed, but lately wants mommy more, usually she is a Daddy's girl

* She always wants a straw to drink with

* Her and Reagan have a love/hate relationship

* She loves to sing in the car

* She always makes friends wherever she goes, no stranger danger here

* She has so much personality and talks with her hands a lot

* She still likes to cuddle and rock- on her terms

* She has a BIG heart

 

Our lives would be so boring without Kamryn! She likes to press my buttons and she is pretty good at it lately. She is smart beyond her years and we are excited to see how she does in preschool. We went to a preschool meet and greet the other night and she seemed to go with the flow. This will be her first time being away from me and as much as I love my time with her- we are both ready for this new experience. I don't worry about her the same way I do about Reagan when it comes to school. Kamryn proved that she isn't going to take anything from anybody while at the meet and greet! There is one little boy who tried to mess with her and needless to say she put him in his place!

 

3 years have flown by and I can't wait to watch her grow in the years to come!!
