Night out with Friends

After a LONG month for some of our friends (they found out their daughter shares the same lung disease her brothers have), she decided to throw a surprise party for her husband who turned 36. We all helped out and it turned out to be a wonderful night for all of us to hang out kid free for once. We went to Rubes in Waukee and had a great time.

What we have been up to....

Catching frogs... One rainy Saturday morning (Jon was actually off from work) he took the girls outside to play and burn some energy. They came running back inside to get winter gloves on so they could catch a frog- They got him and screamed the entire time! ( Yes, Reagan was still in her pajamas!)

Growing baby-  This was taken at 26weeks

Fieldtrip day with Kamryn! I went with Kamryn's preschool class to Center Grover Orchard. We have season passes there so this was probably our 5th time there! Kamryn loved riding on bus. She was excited for me to be there for about half of the trip, then she was done with me. She might be the child whose mom can't go because she will act better if I don't! Luckily I know her teacher well and we are able to laugh about her shifts in personality! There are eight kids in her class and there were about 10 adults! It was fun to see her with her friends!

I can't figure out how to flip this pic- But this was her on the bus ride back to school- mad because she didn't want me to sit by her!!

Soccer Time

If you ever need some entertainment on a Monday night, just head to Kamryn's soccer game!! WOW!! This is the first sport (or really any type of organized "chaos") that Kamryn has participated in. She LOVES it!! She plays on Monday nights for 45 minutes. Play might not be the best word, she runs around, bosses people around, takes the ball, kicks it wherever, waves to her fans, always leaves the game when daddy arrives to give him a hug, and just kind does what she feels like. She plays with 3&4 year olds...so wherever the ball is, that is where all the kids go. Each week she gets a little better with things- it is really fun to see her enjoy it!!
