Easter Egg Hunt

Today was the Easter Egg Hunt in town so we decided to take the girls. Grandma Becki and Mana (gma Sue) joined us. This is the first year Jon didn't have to work so he got to join in the fun as well! The weather was not that nice out, cold, wet, foggy- but it didn't stop the girls! Reagan and Kamryn went at the same time. Kamryn wasn't sure but once she figured it out there was not stopping her. Reagan would walk by eggs and leave them for others. She walked away with 17 eggs full of candy!  After we got the eggs we headed to the library where the girls got to pick a prize and a book. They also got to see the Easter Bunny. Both were very excited about this. Kamryn cried for about 20 minutes when we got home because she wanted the bunny. She had told us and everyone we have seen today that she hugged the Easter Bunny- she is very proud. Both girls had fun!

Reagan

The MANY faces of Reagan:

• Currently loves the color purple
• Is starting to read by sounding out words
• Loves babying Kamryn
• Doesn't like it when she is away from me (this is a new thing, hopefully a phase)
• Can write her full name and phone number
• Likes to take care of her babies- Reagan & Lucy (they even have a cradle in her room)
• Talks back and likes to stick her tongue out (which almost always in never good!)
• Likes to watch what is going on outside with everyone else
• LOVES to wear dresses
• Dresses herself
• Cries easily
• Has told Kamryn multiple times she is ruining her life (while  Kamryn is destroying whatever she is doing)
• LOVES to snuggle!!!!
• Sleeps with 20ish stuffed animals in her bed
• Can sing most songs on the radio
• Loves to talk on the phone
• Stomps her feet on the floor when she is mad (which usually makes us laugh and makes her more mad)
• Likes to color and make crafty things
• Likes to watch Junglebook and sing the songs (we watched it on VHS!)
• Hands out food to anyone who stops by our house- applesauce, fruit snacks, cheese. She always puts it in a baggie and is genuinely excited to give it away.
• Will go to Early Kindergarten next year (sigh) which is all day :(
• Loves to play outside and has a great imagination
• Loves to sing and dance
• Is in dance and soccer
 
 

Reagan: " Mommy, apples are sweet."

Mommy: "Yes they are."

Daddy: "Just like me."

Reagan: " Uh no daddy, you are salty!!"

Reagan has grown up so much this last year. It is hard to imagine that she will be in school full time next year- so I don't think about it! I love my snuggle time with her and sometimes wish I could just bottle it up for when she doesn't want to do it any more. She has recovered well after her surgery and is growing like a week!!

Kamryn

The MANY faces of Kamryn:

•  She is BUSY BUSY BUSY, she is always running- always!
• She loves her big sister and tries to do everything she does
• She is speaking more and more each day
• She LOVES swinging and often cries when we have to leave it. Or she had to say a LONG good-bye as if she will never swing again
• She smiles a lot
• She can climb up on anything to get whatever she wants
• She does things she knows she is not supposed to and waits for you to catch her. Then she laughs- she thinks everything is a game
• She pulled a knife out of the dishwasher- that is how we learned she can open the dishwasher, and the oven, almost the fridge!
• She loves juice, picking the marshmallows out of lucky charms (which we don't get very often), and pretty much anything with sugar (she takes after her mama!)
• People tell me she looks just like Reagan, I see it more when I look at pictures
• Says Pretty Please to everything and thinks that is how she gets what she wants (usually works with daddy :)
• Takes a nap everyday, usually sleeps an hour and a half
• Asks where Reagan is constantly when she isn't with us
• Loves to play with little people, dollhouses, and barbies
• We call her Kamryn Cakes
• She likes to gallop
• She LOVES playing outside
• She only get pacifiers when she is in her crib
• When she wakes up she throws everything out of her crib
• She LOVES playing Pat-a-cake
• She likes to sit on benches wherever we go
• She can say Reagan's name very clearly, sometimes she calls her Rea-Rea
• She likes to watch cartoons- her current favorites are Bubble Guppies and Dora
• She loves to buckle things together (car seat, stroller, highchair,etc.)
• She has very curly hair- just in the back, short and straight in the front (mullet like!)
• She doesn't usually like to snuggle, at least not very long
• She makes us laugh everyday and keeps us on our toes!!
