Frosty the Snowman!

Two weeks ago my sister and Michael came over to hang out for the afternoon. We decided to venture outside with the kids and play in the snow. We built us a Frosty! Michael and Reagan helped a little. Reagan got a snowman making kit a year ago and we were excited to use it!

This was our last time outside I believe. Since then there has been snow and ice and snow and ice and snow and ice and wind and..... I think you get my point! As much as we love our Frosty- I think we are ready to see him go!!

Doctor's Appointment!

Thursday I had what they call my first "official" appointment. (It was actually my 5th!) Jon went with me because we weren't sure if they were going to do an ultrasound. They didn't. But we did get to hear the heartbeat. Dr. Leed's would find it, and then the baby would move...this went on for about 5 minutes. So far everything looks good. They changed my due date from July 29 to August 2. They based the first due date off the first ultrasound, but then changed it after getting better measurements on the second ultrasound. I am really hoping it doesn't matter anyway and this baby comes into this world like Reagan: 13 days early, water breaking at home, dilated to 7 by the time we get to hospital, epidural in, hang out and watch movies for 5.5 hours, push and out she came all 7lbs. 14.5oz and 22inches of her! Guess time will tell! So far Reagan wants a sister named wah, wah, wah! I have had 4 dreams that it is a boy. Jon doesn't know for sure what he thinks yet..... guess we will find out when he/she gets here this summer!!

Bring on July!!

Jon and I are expecting a baby in July!!! This is a post I have been hesitating to do. I think I am just afraid of what could happen. Jon and I found out before Thanksgiving that we were pregnant... I was filled with so many mixed emotions: Excited, nervous, scared. I have been to the doctor multiple times and so far we have got a very healthy baby! I have had 2 ultrasounds- heartbeat has been 141 and 160- and everything looks as it should at this point in a pregnancy. I am starting my second trimester and reality is setting in with me. I have been at this spot before not all that long ago. It is like I told my doctor and Jon- I did not enter into this thinking that the worst was going to happen again, but I also can't think that it won't just because I have been through it before. I just have to get through 3 more weeks and then I will be able to breath a little easier. I will know then that I have made it farther this time. I know it won't be until I am holding this baby in my arms that I will be able to breath fully. Jon and I have talked about names, how we want to decorate the room, what Reagan will think- 99% of me is ready...1% of me just can't let go of the small feeling of being scared. I know it is not up to me and I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. I am trying to let God take care of things they way they should be and just enjoy my pregnancy! So bring on July!!

2010!!
